ANGOLA, Ind.-- Enjoy a day of fun, food and golf this summer while raising money for the Trine Fund for scholarships.
The 26th annual Alumni & Friends Scholarship Golf Outing is set for Friday, Aug. 5, at Trine University's Zollner Golf Course. Participants will enjoy on-course competitions, lunch, snacks and a gourmet, cookout-style buffet dinner.
The cost to enter is $125 for golfers taking on the course at 7:30 a.m. and $150 for those wishing to start at 1 p.m. For morning participants, registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast. Afternoon registration begins at noon, following an 11:30 a.m. buffet lunch.
Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner, refreshments, range balls, a team photo and an individual gift.
The event raised more than $96,000 last year.
"The Zollner Golf Course is a premier facility for those who love the sport, and we always enjoy having golfers on campus to see how they measure up to its challenges," said Trine President Earl D. Brooks II. "In addition to an enjoyable day on a championship course, golfers will have the satisfaction of supporting a quality education for Trine University students."
