MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.-- The Trine High Voltage dance team won the Jazz category at the Cheer Ltd. Nationals at CANAM last weekend.
The team finished first in the Open Jazz category and added a third-place finish for its performance in the Open Hip-Hop division. This is team's second-straight championship in the Open Jazz category at the event.
Teams were scored based on the execution of kicks and turns, floor work, leaps and jumps, and body control and placement. Additional points were awarded based on difficulty of elements, formation and spacing, uniformity, choreography and impression.
