The mission of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to enhance the student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare, and fostering a positive student-athlete image (Adopted from the mission statement of the National SAAC).
Trine Student Athletic Advisory Committee
We maintain a philosophy similar to that of Division-III and the MIAA. SAAC places high priority on the overall quality of student's academic programs, and it seeks to establish and maintain an environment in which a student-athlete's athletic activities are conducted as an integral part of his/her educational experience. SAAC also works to establish and maintain an environment that values cultural diversity and sportsmanship among our student-athletes and athletic staff (Adopted from the philosophy of NCAA Division-III).
