ANGOLA, IND.-- Take a look at the upcoming schedule and a brief preview of the week ahead in Trine Thunder athletics.
Tuesday
Men's Basketball: Trine at Franklin, 7 p.m.
Both teams enter the contest seeking their first wins of the
season. Trine won last season's meeting by a 78-74 final. The
Grizzlies won the last meeting in Franklin back in 2012.
Saturday
Men's Basketball: Trine vs. Earlham, 1 p.m.
The Thunder open the HCAC/MIAA Challenge at Manchester University
with a game against the Quakers. Earlham enters the week 0-1, with
that loss coming in blowout fashion to Albion. Trine has won the
last three meetings dating back to 2011.
Women's Basketball: Trine at Anderson, 7 p.m.
The Thunder will look to extend their winning-streak to three
games. The last time Trine won three-consecutive road games was
during the 2008-09 season. The Thunder earned a 60-31 victory over
the Ravens last season.
Sunday
Men's Basketball: Trine at Manchester, 3 p.m.
The MIAA/HCAC Challenge concludes as the Thunder face the
Spartans. Trine and Manchester have a long history dating back to
when both schools were members of NAIA. The teams have met each of
the last three seasons, with the Thunder getting wins in two of
those meetings. The Spartans earned a 67-61 victory in last
season's meeting.
