Acrobatics and Tumbling Announces 2024 Schedule

ANGOLA, Ind. – The National Collegiate Acrobatics and Tumbling Association (NCATA) has released the schedule for the upcoming 2024 Acrobatics and Tumbling schedule, including the meet slate for Trine University. The Thunder will take the mats for their fourth season beginning in February.

Trine's 2023 season was the best in program history, capped by a runner-up finish at the 2023 NCATA Division III Nation Championship Tournament. The team finished the regular season with a 4-3 record, the first winning record in program history. Of the three losses just one came to a Division III opponent, with the others coming to the Division I National Champions from Baylor University and the Division II team from Augustana University. Including the postseason, the Thunder finished 6-4.

This season the team is scheduled to five opponents over the course of six matches during the months of February and March. They begin the season on the road against Concordia University Wisconsin on Sunday, February 18 and then travel to New York to face Buffalo State University on Saturday, February 24.

The team spends most of March at home. Their home opener comes on Sunday, March 3 when they welcome Glenville State University. Then on Saturday, March 16 the team will bring in a pair of teams for a tri-match, including Notre Dame College and Adrian College. Then the team hosts CUW on Sunday, March 24.

The last regular season match of the season comes on the road against Adrian on Saturday, March 30.
