ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine baseball team has released its schedule for the 2015 season, the team announced Tuesday.
The Thunder will once again begin the season with eight games at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational between Mar. 1-6. Trine will once again face Mount Union and the Milwaukee School of Engineering as part of the Invitational. The Thunder will also take on NCAA Regional participant Rose-Hulman, as well as Anna Maria and Aurora on their spring break trip. Trine is coming off a season in which the Thunder finished with a 14-26 overall record, and placed seventh in the MIAA.
The home schedule opens with a doubleheader against non-conference foe Ohio Northern on Mar. 14. The home slate also includes non-conference foe Illinois Tech, as well as the typical home doubleheader with every conference opponent.
The lone non-conference road trip outside of the season-opening spring break trip will be a trip to Heidelberg. All other road games will be against conference opponents.
