ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine baseball team has announced the addition of two midweek, nonconference games to its schedule.
The Thunder will now host Heidelberg Thursday, Apr. 7 at 4 p.m. at Jannen Field. The single, nine-inning game was rescheduled after a prior postponement due to weather. Trine will also travel to Case Western Reserve Wednesday, Apr. 13 for another single, nine-inning game. First pitch of that game is also scheduled for 4 p.m.
Yesterday, the Thunder swept Olivet to take three of four from the Comets in the MIAA series. Trine is part of a three-way tie for second in the conference with a 6-2 mark in league action.
Trine will carry a 10-8 overall record into tomorrow's nonconference contest. The Student Princes are 11-11 overall.
