ANGOLA, Ind. -- Today's baseball doubleheader between Trine and Alma has been postponed to Sunday due to field conditions.
The Thunder and Scots are now scheduled to play Sunday, Apr. 9 at 1 p.m. at Jannen Field. The two teams will open the MIAA series tomorrow at Alma. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Rain and snowfall from earlier this week is likely to affect the scheduling of tomorrow's series opener as well. Details will be posted Friday evening or Saturday morning when they are finalized.
Trine carries a five-game winning streak into this weekend's series. The Thunder sit in second place in the MIAA with a 6-2 mark in league action. Alma is 5-15 overall and 3-5 in conference play. The Scots are coming off a series split with Albion.
