ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University ACHA D2 hockey team picked up a lopsided 8-3 victory over visiting Davenport University this afternoon.
The Thunder picked up the victory behind a balanced offensive attack that included eight goals scored by seven different skaters.
Junior Brendan Werstine (Lakewood, Calif.) was the lone Trine skater to pick up multiple goals he finished with two in the contest.
The Thunder improve to 12-9-1 overall following the win. They will travel to face Davenport tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 25. The game is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
