ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Trine placekicker Tyler Keck its Special Teams Player of the Week in football for games played through Sept. 7.
Keck, a senior from Elkhart, Ind. (Elkhart Memorial), set a school record with four field goals in leading the Thunder past Manchester, Ind. 19-3 in their season opener. His field goals covered 31, 25, 36 and 36 yards. He also averaged 55.2 yards on six kickoffs. Keck is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time in his career.
