ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Trine University placekicker Tyler Keck its Special Teams Player of the Week in football for games played through Sept. 21.
Keck, a senior from Elkhart, Ind. (Elkhart Memorial HS), kicked a 30-yard field goal and six extra points in the Thunder's 47-41 victory over Concordia, Wis. He also averaged 55 yards per kickoff, including three touchbacks, and executed a successful onside kick. Keck is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time this season and third time in his career.
