Guzy Named MIAA Player of the Week in Football

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Trine defensive back Tyler Guzy its Defensive Player of the Week in football for games played through Sept. 28.

Guzy, a junior from Coldwater (Coldwater HS), intercepted two passes and made seven tackles from his secondary position, including one tackle for loss, in Trine's 24-21 loss against NCAA Division II member St. Joseph's (IN). Guzy leads all Division III players in interceptions with five heading into the start of conference play this week. He is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
