At stake this Saturday is a potential share of the MIAA Championship and an automatic-qualifying berth in the NCAA Division III playoffs. A Thunder win would clinch a share of the MIAA title regardless of the outcome of any other game.

Trine would need a win combined with an Olivet loss to Alma to earn an automatic-qualifying bid to the postseason. The Thunder cannot earn an automatic bid in any three-way tiebreak scenario with Albion and Olivet. The Britons have wrapped up conference play with one loss, while Trine and the Comets each wrap up league play Saturday.

Kickoff of Saturday's showdown at Adrian is scheduled for 1 p.m.
