ANGOLA, Ind. -- On October 8, the Trine football team will be dedicating the Jason A. Stechschulte Football All-American Room in Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium.
All football alums are invited to attend the dedication, which will take place prior to the MIAA-opening football contest between the Thunder and Albion. All-Americans in attendance will also receive recognition at halftime of the football game.
Named in honor of Jason A. Stechschulte, a 2003 graduate of Tri-State University, the room recognizes football players receiving All-American honors. Stechschulte was a 2011 inductee into the Athletic Hall of Fame. He earned NAIA Coaches Association All-American honors twice and was a NAIA Academic All-American in 2002.

The 2016 edition of the Trine football team has opened the season 1-1. The Thunder travel to Aurora this Saturday for a 2 p.m. kickoff in a non-conference contest.
