ANGOLA, IND. -- The Trine University football team enters its "bye" week ranked in both national polls for NCAA Division III following its latest win against Concordia University Wisconsin this past Saturday (Sept. 21).
The Thunder are ranked 23rd in the latest D3football.com poll [D3football.com poll] and are ranked 24th in the American Football Coaches Association poll [AFCA poll].
Trine is coming off of a 21-16 win against Concordia Wisconsin and increased its current regular-season win streak to 23 games.
Trine will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 5 when the Thunder host Hope (Mich.) College in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener at Zollner Stadium. The game will also be part of Homecoming weekend festivities with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m.
