Title: Assistant Coach/Wide Receivers

Tyus Alcorn became a member of the Trine football coaching staff prior to the 2017 season as an assistant coach and will be in charge of the wide receivers.

Alcorn earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Ky. While earning his degree, the Lexington, Ky. native played three seasons of football at Campbellsville and was a standout wide receiver.

During his tenure as a student-athlete, Alcorn was a two-time first-team All-NAIA Mid-South Conference honoree as well as a two-time first-team All-NCCAA selection. In 2016, he was tabbed the Mid-South Conference "Offensive Player of the Year."

In three seasons at Campbellsville, Alcorn caught 121 receptions for 2,103 yards (17.4 yards per reception) with 36 touchdowns in 26 games.  Alcorn holds the school's all-time mark in TD receptions (36) and the single-season TD reception record with 19 which he set during the 2015 season.

In addition, Alcorn garnered All-Commonwealth Conference accolades in 2015.
