Clint Davis joined the Trine University football coaching staff prior to the start of the 2020 season and works with the tight ends.

Davis has had a vast coaching career at the high school ranks and recently served as the Athletic Director at Northfield High School in Wabash, Indiana as well as the head baseball coach and assistant football coach.  He also served as the Three Rivers Conference president in 2018.  During his high school coaching career, Davis coached multiple all-conference and all-state players in both baseball and football.  As an assistant football coach, he was part of a staff that helped lead Northfield to finish as semi-state finalists in 2015.  Additional assistant football coaching stints included Marion (Ind.) High School where he was the offensive coordinator (2013-15); Churubusco (Ind.) High School (2001-03, 2010-12) that included a semi-state finalist finish in 2010; Carroll (Ind.) High School as an offensive coordinator and assistant head coach of the varsity team.  He began his coaching career at Carroll (Ind.) Middle school as the head coach of the seventh grade team (2003-04).

As a baseball coach, Davis garnered IHSBCA District Coach of the Year honors in 2018 at Northfield.  That same year, his team also finished as a semi-state finalist.  At Marion H.S., he helped rejuvenate a program that saw its largest number of victories in a season in over a decade in only his second year as head coach (2014-15).  Davis served as an assistant coach while at Churubusco H.S. and started his baseball coaching career at Carroll H.S. as a coach of the junior varsity team where he worked with student-athletes that were members of the 4A state championship team.

Davis earned a bachelor degree in Health Education and Sports Medicine from Ohio Northern University in 2001 and went on to earn a minor in physical education from the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) in 2002.  He later added a master's degree in sport administration from Ball State (Ind.) University in December of 2008.  Davis held multiple teaching positions all each of this high school stops to go along with his coaching tenures.
