PIERSON, Mich.-- The Trine men's golf team placed third in the Calvin Invitational, held Tuesday at Pilgrim's Run Golf Course.
The Thunder finished with a score of 321 to finish +29 on the par-73 course. Austin Tevlin (Edwardsburg, Mich. / Edwardsburg) careded Trine's best score on the day with a seven-over 78 to finish in a tie for seventh. The senior has finished with the team's best score in each of the last two tournaments. Hope College won the team title with a score of 307 (+15), led by individual medalist Winton Munch with a three-under 70.

Connor Dwyer (Coldwater, Mich. / Coldwater) finished with an 80 to finish second among Thunder golfers. Corey Bremigan (Russia, Ohio / Russia) and Grant Klopfenstein (Howell, Mich. / Hartland) rounded out Trine's top four with an 81 and 82 respectively.
Trine will host the Bill Gettig Invitational tomorrow morning on the links of Zollner Golf Course.
