Men's Golf in Second After Day One of Strimer Memorial Invitational

DELAWARE, Ohio—The Trine men's golf team finished day one of the Strimer Memorial Invitational in second place.

The Thunder sit two strokes behind hosts Ohio Wesleyan, who shot 22 over par for the day.

Trine's Grant McKay (Las Vegas, Nev./Coronado) and Todd Mieske (Owosso, Mich./Owosso) are tied for fourth place at four over-75, while Grant Brettnacher (Brookton, Ind./Harrison) is tied for sixth at five over-76. Nick Knowlton (Bridgman, Mich./Bridgman) and Joe LeSueur (Northfield Center, Ohio/Trinity) are tied for 17^th at 11 over.

The Thunder will wrap up the Strimer Memorial Invitational on Sunday. Trine will tee off at 8 a.m. at the Oakhaven Golf Club.
