ANGOLA, IND. – Trine University sophomore Grant McKay (Las Vegas, Nev. / Coronado) will take the next step toward earning a spot in the 2018 U.S. Open by competing in a sectional qualifier on Monday, June 4.
The event will include two 18-hole rounds of golf and is hosted by both the Lake Merced Golf Club and the Olympic Club in Daly City, Calif.

McKay qualified for the sectional by finishing in the top four at the local qualifier hosted by the South Bend Country Club on Monday, May 7. He finished the event tied for second with a score of 67.
