Men's Soccer Falls at Albion

ALBION, Mich.—The Trine men's soccer team lost, 6-0, on Tuesday evening to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association foe Albion.

Albion (2-3 overall, 1-0 MIAA) scored four goals in the first half and added two more in the second. Trine moves to 0-4-2 overall and 0-1 in MIAA action.

The Britons' Bobby Budlong, Kyle Johnson, Erik Vanfossen and Jacob Windle each scored their first goals of the season in the first. Kyle Bourlier notched his fourth goal of the season in the second, while Steven Lockhart had his first to round out the scoring. Justin Kraft earned the win in goal for Albion.

Senior Ian Jindrich (Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley) made four saves and played 71:45. Jindrich moves to 0-2-2 for the season. William Macedo (Elkhart, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) played 18:15 making one save. Trine had 10 total shots including five on net. Bill Wilson (Mason, Mich./Mason) led the Thunder offense with four shots, while Brec Musselman (Noblesville, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) added three.

The Thunder will return home this weekend to play host to Adrian on Saturday, Sept. 17. Play will begin at 2:30 p.m.
