Men's Soccer Drops MIAA Contest to Hope

HOLLAND, Mich.—The Trine men's soccer team dropped a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association game to Hope on Wednesday night, 3-0.

Hope improved to 3-5 overall and 1-2 MIAA, while Trine moved to 0-6-2 and 0-3 MIAA.

David White scored first for the Flying Dutchmen with a header off a corner kick. Alex Lindsey scored two goals to wrap up scoring in the first half. Neither team scored in the second half.

William Macedo (Elkhart, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) was in goal for the Thunder. Blair McCormick picked up the win for Hope making four saves.

Ryan Bosse (Cincinnati, Ohio/Deer Park) led the Thunder offense with three shots, while Brec Musselman (Noblesville, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and Bill Wilson (Mason, Mich./Mason) each had two.

The Thunder returns home on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. contest against Kalamazoo.
