Trine Men to Face Calvin in MIAA Tournament

ANGOLA, IND.  --  The Trine University men's soccer team will make its first appearance in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament since 2011 on Wednesday when it travels to Grand Rapids, Mich. to take on Calvin (Mich.) College.

Calvin earned the top seed and will host a semifinal game against Trine who is the fourth seed.

The Knights have captured seven straight tournament titles outright and the past 11 championships dating back to the 2007 season.  Calvin shared the conference championship with Hope (Mich.) College during the 2010 campaign.

The winner of the game on Wednesday (Nov. 1) will go on to face the winner of the No. 2 seed Adrian versus #3 seed Hope matchup on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the highest seeded team's home field.

Kickoff between Trine and Calvin is scheduled for 7 p.m.
