ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine men's soccer team has announced its 2018 schedule.
The Thunder open the season with a home game against Edgewood (Wisc.) College on Sept. 1. Trine will then play three consecutive road games that includes a neutral site matchup against Franklin College. Trine will travel to Defiance, Ohio to take on Defiance College on Sept. 4, before traveling to Crawfordsville, Ind. for a two-day event hosted by Wabash College on Sept. 8-9. The team will face Wabash on Sept. 8 and then follows that game with its meeting against Franklin on Sept. 9.
The home-opener comes on Sept. 13 with a non-conference game against Earlham College at Jannen Field. Trine will play two more home games against Bluffton (Ohio) University and Huntington University before beginning MIAA play on Oct. 3 against Albion (Mich.) College in Albion, Mich.
The conference schedule features four home contests, including a matchup against defending MIAA Regular-Season and Tournament Champions Calvin College, who also advanced to the round of 16 in the NCAA Division III Tournament, on Oct. 6. The remaining MIAA home slate includes Kalamazoo (Oct. 9), Adrian (Oct. 17) and Hope (Oct. 20).
