CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND.  --  After a narrow loss yesterday, the Trine University men's soccer team rebounded with a 3-0 win against Franklin College in a neutral site matchup in Crawfordsville, Ind.

The Thunder outshot the Grizzlies, 20-2, in the game, including 11-0 in the first half.  Trine (3-1) broke the stalemate at the 11:36 mark when sophomore Jonathan Slone (Troy, Ohio/Troy Christian) scored the first goal of the game with an assist from fellow sophomore Connor Hanaway (Peru, Ind./North Miami).

Near the end of the period, the Thunder struck again when senior Ben Moricz (Valparaiso, Ind./Valparaiso) scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season during the 33rd minute to increase the margin to 2-0.  Sophomore Nooh Aljabaly (Coldwater, Mich./Coldwater) added to his season point total with an assist on the Moricz goal.

The Moricz goal would be the final of the half as Trine went into the break with a two-goal advantage, 2-0.
