Ticketing Information for MIAA Soccer Tournament Matches

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's and women's soccer programs will be in action in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament Semifinals this week. The Trine women will be playing on the road at Hope College on Tuesday, October 31 beginning at 5 p.m. while the men's squad will host The University of Olivet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1 at Shive Field.

All those wishing to attend must purchase a ticket online through the MIAA's Ticketing Portal. Trine University strongly suggests purchasing your tickets ahead of time and bringing either a digital or print copy of your ticket to the gate for both the men's and women's contests.

Ticket prices for all MIAA Soccer Tournament matches are $8 for general admission, $5 for MIAA staff and faculty members, $5 for non-MIAA students, and FREE for all MIAA students and children under five.

On the women's side, the Thunder come in having already knocked off the third-seeded Kalamazoo College Hornets on Saturday. Junior Bella Mabry scored the game-winning goal with just three seconds remaining in the match to claim victory and advance to the MIAA Tournament Semifinals. In the first meeting between #6 Trine and #2 Hope, the Flying Dutch were able to get the best of the Thunder by a score of 3-1. Mabry was once again the lone goal scorer for Trine in that match.

For the Thunder men, five consecutive conference wins helped them to secure the number two seed in the MIAA Tournament and received a First Round bye. Olivet made the MIAA Tournament as the #6 seed and knocked off #3 Hope College in their First Round contest, 1-0. Trine picked up a 3-2 win against the Comets in the regular season. Sophomore Liam Zimmerman had a season-high three points in the match via one goal and one assist.
