Knust Named First-Team All-MIAA

ROYAL OAK, MICH.-- Trine's Caleb Knust has been named First-Team All-MIAA, the conference announced as part of the league's all-conference release Saturday.

Knust (Plainfield, Ind./Plainfield) earned First-Team All-MIAA honors for the second-time in his Trine career. The sophomore was 6-1 in MIAA-singles matches, with all of those coming in the no. 1 court. He finished with an overall record of 18-4, including a 16-2 mark in dual matches. Knust won 13 of his last 15 matches, with all of those wins coming in straight sets.

Knust has had a strong start to his Thunder career. Over the last two seasons, he has gone 12-1 in MIAA matches and 35-8 overall.
