ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine men's tennis team fell to nationall-ranked Kalamazoo in MIAA-action Saturday afternoon at Angola Middle School.
The Hornets entered the match ranked 37th in the nation in the ITA Division III Men's Tennis rankings. Kalamazoo is also ranked 10th in the organization's regional rankings. All Hornet players won in straight sets.
Trine fell to 5-8 overall and 1-3 in the MIAA. The Hornets improved to 12-3 overall, 4-0 in conference matches.
The Thunder return to action Friday, Apr. 22 at Albion. First serve is set for 4 p.m. Trine remains in the hunt for a MIAA postseason berth.
