GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. -- The Trine University men's tennis team was defeated in the first round of the MIAA Tournament by Calvin College in straight matches, 5-0.
This season is the first time since the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) narrowed the tournament field to four in 2012 that Trine has made a postseason appearance.
The Thunder finish the season with a 7-12 overall record, having gone 3-4 in MIAA regular season competition.
