ANGOLA, Ind. -- Two members of the Trine University men's tennis team went undefeated but it was not enough as the visitors from Grace College left with a 6-3 victory.

The Thunder's lone victory of the double portion of the match came from the No. 3 doubles team. Freshman Jaxon Davis (Angola / Angola) and sophomore Isaac Everitt (Scottsburg / Scottsburg) picked up the win by the score of 8-6.

Davis and Everitt would both add another win during the singles portion of the match. Davis took home the No. 3 match with scores of 6-3, 2-6, 10-4. Everitt won the No. 4 match with scores of 6-0, 6-2. The two victories gave the Thunder their final points of the match for the 6-3 loss.

Following the loss, Trine falls to a 3-2 record. The match was their final team event of the fall portion of the season. Members of the team will travel to compete in the ITA Regional Championships which begin on Friday, Sept. 28 in St. Louis, Mo.
