Men's Tennis Tripped Up by Carthage

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- The Trine University men's tennis team fell to Carthage College today by the score of 8-1.

The Thunder struggled from the start dropping all three of the doubles portion matches. They would go on to drop all but one of the singles matches to fall in the contest 8-1.

The lone victory of the day for Trine came from junior Jordan Baker (Salem, Ind. / Salem) who took the No. 6 singles match with scores of 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.

Trine falls to 5-5 following the loss. They will take the courts again when they return home for a contest against Bethel (Ind.) College on Tuesday, March 19 at 4 p.m.
