ANGOLA, Ind. -- Visiting Wittenberg University was too much for the Trine University men's tennis team. The Thunder fell in the match by a score of 5-1.

Trine's lone win on the day came in the doubles portion of the competition. The team of freshman Jaxon Davis (Angola, Ind. / Angola) and sophomore Isaac Everitt (Scottsburg, Ind. / Scottsburg) took the No. 3 match for the Thunder with a score of 8-3.

The team falls to 6-6 following the loss. They will begin Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play in their next match when they travel to face Adrian College on Friday, March 29. The dual is set to begin at 4 p.m.
