ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has announced that Trine’s Tyler Bourdo has been named the MIAA’s Men’s Track Athletes of the Week for meets through April 21. This is the first time that a Trine University Track Athlete has been honored.
Bourdo, a freshman from Plainwell (Delton-Kellogg HS), won the 400 meters at the Sparky Adams Invitational at Baldwin-Wallace, Ohio, with a time of 49.64, third-best in the MIAA this season. Bourdo is being honored as Athlete of the Week for the first time this season.
