Leopold, Fimreite, Markley, and Bourdo combined for a time of 3:25.60 to win the 4 x 400 M Relay. The quartet of runners finished 2.2 seconds ahead of Division-I Chicago State's relay team. Fimreite also enjoyed individual success, running indoor personal-bests in both the 200 M and 400 M. The junior ran a time of 51.07 in the 400 M, just one-hundredth of a second behind the top finisher from NAIA powerhouse Indiana Tech.
