FINDLAY, Ohio-- Two Trine performers set personal-bests on day one of the Findlay Classic Friday night.
Sam Gilly (St. Joseph, Ill./St. Joseph-Ogden) and Dakota Bagwell (Kokomo, Ind./Western) each set new personal marks in the weight throw. Gilly of 53 feet, 6.25 inches to finish sixth. The junior improved on his season-best by over two feet. Bagwell's throw of 49 feet, one inch placed the senior 12th in the event. Andrew Bunting (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) came through with a throw of 53 feet, 1.75 inches to place seventh in the weight throw.
