Bourdo Earns All-America Honors

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-- Trine's Tyler Bourdo earned All-America honors and advanced to the championship race of the 400 M with his performance in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships Friday afternoon.

Bourdo (Plainwell, Mich./Delton-Kellogg) ran a qualifying time of 49.25 seconds in the preliminaries of the 400 M to qualify for the National Championship race for the third-consecutive year. The senior's time placed seventh among championship-race qualifiers. This is the second-consecutive year Bourdo has earned All-America honors during the indoor season. Including outdoor honors, he has now earned All-American distinction four times in his Trine career.

Tomorrow's 400 M National Championship race is slated for tomorrow at 2:45 p.m. The race will be able to be watched via video live-stream. Follow THIS LINK to the NCAA page to watch the race.

The NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships are being hosted by Roanoke College at the JDL Fast Track. The national meet concludes with tomorrow's events.
