ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Trine's Adam Schaaf set a school record at Grand Valley State's Big Meet Friday night.
Schaaf (Greentown, Ind. / Eastern) ran a time of 15:33.48 in the 5,000-meter run to break a three-year olf school record by seven seconds. The senior set an indoor personal-best by 12 seconds in the process.
Robert Duke (Greentown, Ind. / Eastern) added a time of 15:43.06 to set a new personal-best in the 5,000-meter run. Collin Elek (Osceola, Ind. / Penn) also notched a personal-record, crossing the finish line in 15:51.90.
Trine competes in the Taylor Invitational tomorrow. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
