TIFFIN, OHIO -- Juniors Mitch Martin (Monroe, Mich./Monroe) and Nick Gerber (Goshen, Ind./Goshen) both traveled to Findlay, Ohio to compete in the annual Oiler Open hosted by the University of Findlay.
Both individuals competed in the weight throw with Martin posting the top mark with a sixth-place finish with a distance of 53' 0.25" (16.16m). Gerber placed three spots back in ninth place with a best throw of 50' 10.25" (15.50m).
Members of the men's track and field team will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. to take part in the Circle Logistics Warrior Invite hosted by Indiana Tech. The meet is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
