Jake Gladieux Qualifies for the 110-Meter Hurdle Finals

GENEVA, Ohio – On day two of the 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, the Trine University track and field team saw junior Jake Gladieux [Oregon, Ohio / Whitmer] compete in the preliminary 110-meter hurdle event.

Gladieux was a fourth-place finisher with a time of 14.35 seconds. That mark places him in Saturday's 110-meter hurdle finals scheduled for 1 pm. His time is less than one-tenth of a second off his career best and school record time of 14.26 seconds.

The final day of the 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships begins tomorrow morning at 11 am. Valerie Obear [Fishers, Ind. / Hamilton Southeastern] will compete in the first field event, the women's hammer throw, followed by Evie Miller [Fort Wayne, Ind. / Homestead] shortly thereafter at 11:30 am in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase.
