ANGOLA, Ind. – Hunter Haas [Cincinnati, Ohio / Bishop Moeller] of the Trine University men's volleyball team continued to add to his list of accolades by being named to the FrogJump Team of the Week for February 7 through February 13.
Haas, who has already been named Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) Defensive Player of the Week, was tabbed at the libero position for the National Team of the Week following three wins at the Fontbonne Invitational. The Thunder have won five matches in a row.
The sophomore recorded 43 digs in three matches (3.9 digs/set), including 23 against Loras College, the second-most in a match in school history. The Trine defense held the Duhawks to a .184 hitting percentage and knocked off the previously unbeaten team. Haas also chipped in with nine assists in total last weekend.
The men's volleyball team takes the court again on Tuesday, February 15 at Indiana Tech beginning at 7 pm.
