CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Ted Hofmeister [Powell, Ohio / Saint Charles] of the Trine University men's volleyball team was named Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) Offensive Player of the Week.
Hofmeister led the Thunder to a 1-1 record this week, including a three-set sweep of Wittenberg University. It was in that match where the sophomore outside hitter notched a .727 kill percentage with 17 kills on 22 attempts to set a new program record. He added 16 more kills in the loss against Fontbonne University.
The Trine men's volleyball team will play host to Mount St. Joseph University on Friday, March 25 for their next league match. First serve is scheduled for 7 pm.
