CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Trine University men's volleyball team extended their win streak to ten games with a 3-1 triumph over Wabash College on Saturday night. The Thunder move to 13-4 on the season and are unbeaten at 3-0 inside the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL). The Little Giants are 13-7 overall and 1-3 in league play.

After Wabash led early in the first set, Trine took control in the later stages en route to a 25-17 win. The team had 12 kills and a .321 hitting percentage.

A block by Matt Stillman and Nick Woolley capped a 6-1 run to start the second set for Trine. The Little Giants got to within three at 13-10, but the Thunder were persistent and remained in front for the duration of the set. Stillman had an ace and two kills in the closing stages of the 25-19 victory.

Wabash would not go away quietly and ended up staying alive with a 25-16 win in set three. Their .324 hitting percentage was a match high as they looked to mount a comeback. Six of the final seven points belonged to the Little Giants, but their momentum was squashed early in the fourth.
