Lewis Duke (Greentown, Ind./Eastern) ran a solid time of 25:32 to finish 56th in his first-ever Regional performance. That bested his previous-best time by a minute. He improved his 8K time by 2:15 over the course of the season.

Sean Brady (Monroe, Mich./Monroe) finished third among Trine runners in 26:21. That time gave the Thunder another career-best mark by over a minute. Aaron Mast (Ligonier, Ind./West Noble) bested his career-mark by over a minute as well with a 26:34 time.

Rounding out Trine's top five and point earners was Collin Elek (Osceola, Ind./Penn). Elek's time was another personal-best of 26:42.

The performance rounds out a solid season for the Thunder that saw the team earn their best MIAA finish since 2008. All of Trine's top-five performances in the Regional came from underclassmen, giving the Thunder a solid young core of runners for the future.
