Trine earns Best Regional Finish in Eight Years

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Trine men's cross country team placed 13th in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

The 13th-place finish is the best regional finish for the Thunder since 2007. The team was able to do so despite missing several of its top projected runners. All five of Trine's scoring runners placed in the top 100 to pace the effort. Robert Lewis Duke (Greentown, Ind./Eastern) led the team with a 65th-place finish, turning in a time of 26:46 for a new season-best in the 8K. Overall, Thunder runners scored the team 419 points.
