ANGOLA, IND.-- The first Regional championship in school-history has earned the Trine softball team a trip to Atlanta to face Emory in the Super-Regional round of the NCAA® Division III Softball Championship.
Fresh on the heels of a pair of victories over Muskingum to win the Angola Regional, Trine will make the trip to Dixie land to face the Eagles. Emory swept through their region with a victory over Agnes Scott and two wins over Piedmont. The Eagles were most recently ranked 15th in the nation in the latest NFCA Top 25 Poll, and are 39-7 overall. Trine will enter the matchup with a 41-4 overall record.
