Softball Announces Time Change for Tuesday

ANGOLA, Ind.-- The first pitch of tomorrow's softball doubleheader between Trine and Ohio Northern has been pushed back an hour due to field conditions.

The Thunder and Polar Bears are now scheduled for a 3 p.m. start time at SportONE/Parkview Softball Field. The two teams were previously scheduled to for a 2 p.m. first pitch. Trine enters tomorrow's doubleheader ranked eighth in the nation and riding an 11-game winning-streak, with a 16-1 overall record. Ohio Northern is 10-5 on the season. The Thunder swept a doubleheader from the Polar Bears last season.

Trine is coming off a sweep of John Carroll in the opening games at SportONE/Parkview Softball Field this past Sunday. Carly Searles (Levering, Mich./Petoskey) is the reigning-MIAA Player of the Week.
