Softball Games Moved to Sunday

ANGOLA, Ind.-- Today's softball doubleheader between Trine and St. Mary's has been moved to Sunday due to the forecast for rain.

The Thunder and Belles will now square off at 1 p.m. tomorrow at SportONE/Parkview Field. Seeding for the upcoming MIAA Tournament is at stake for both teams. Trine can clinch an outright conference championship with a win, while St. Mary's is looking to lock up the number four seed. The Thunder enter the games ranked sixth in the nation 31-2 overall record and 13-1 conference mark. St. Mary's carries a 22-10 overall and 9-5 conference record into tomorrow's action.

Trine will honor its senior class of Carly Searles (Levering, Mich./Petoskey), Bree Fuller (Hubbardston, Mich./Fulton), Leah Hall (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central), Rachel Harris (Uniontown, Ohio/Hoover), Amy Newell (Three Rivers, Mich./Three Rivers) and Jamie Schnarr (Kettering, Ohio/Kettering) after tomorrow's games.
