ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine softball team will travel to DePauw University to face Thomas More in the first round of the NCAA Regionals.
The field for the 2015 NCAA Division III Softball Championship was announced this morning. The Thunder and Saints will square off at DePauw University Softball Field in Greencastle, Ind. Trine won its fourth-consecutive MIAA regular-season title and third-straight MIAA Tournament crown, finishing the regular-season 37-3 overall. Thomas More won the Presidents' Athletic Conference to receive an automatic-qualifying bid. The Saints have a 26-15 overall record.
The four-team regional also includes DePauw and Washington-St. Louis. DePauw enters the regional with a 30-13 record and won the NCAC Tournament. Washington-St. Louis is ranked 20th in the nation with a 33-11 mark.
Games times and ticket prices will be posted when they become available from the NCAA.
