Elimination Game Suspended with Trine Leading

GREENCASTLE, Ind.-- The elimination game between Trine and Thomas More has been suspended at the end of four innings due to darkness.

The Thunder hold a 4-0 lead after four innings after a four-run fourth. Leah Hall (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) cleared the bases with a two-out, three-run double to get Trine on the board. Hall then came in to score on an error for the scoring margin in today's game. The two teams will resume play tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Bree Fuller (Hubbardston, Mich./Fulton) tossed four shutout innings, allowing one hit thus far for the Thunder. All of the runs charged to Thomas More's Mamee Salzer are unearned.

The winner of the concluded game tomorrow will advance to the championship round to face DePauw. Counting the resumed game, the winner of the Trine-Thomas More game would need to win three games total tomorrow to win the regional.
