ANGOLA, Ind.-- A radio segment featuring Trine softball head coach Don Danklefsen will air this evening on 95.5 FM WAWK.
A segment with Danklefsen appearing with Fred Inniger on "The Hawk Sports Talk" will air tonight at 8:30 p.m. Local listeners in northeast Indiana can tune in on 95.5 FM or 1140 AM. Fans can also listen online at THIS LINK.
Danklefsen coached the Trine softball team to its second Regional title this season. The Thunder appeared in the NCAA Regionals for the ninth-straight year, shared a fifth-straight MIAA regular-season title and concluded the season 33-14 overall.
Trine produced an All-American for the fourth-straight year as third baseman Kendra Marshall (Leesburg, Ind. / Warsaw) was named to the Second Team. Three Thunder performers earned All-Region honors and six were named to the All-MIAA teams.
